Residents of Sea Haven will enjoy close proximity to the scenic Monterey Bay trails that stretch along the California coast which includes Fort Ord Dunes State Park, Locke Padden Park, and Glorya Jean Tate Park. The Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail divides into multiple walking and cycling paths that lead into seven community parks, white sandy beaches, and a variety of interesting sights and sounds along the way. This relationship to the natural environment encourages healthy outdoor activity and the exploration of approximately 29 miles of pathways for the avid cyclist, hiker, walker and/or runner. Once you reach the end of the trail that winds to the beach, you will notice the striking rocky shoreline to the west and the sparkling blue water of the sea. The trails are marked for ease of navigation and have railings for the safety of the community as well as to protect the wildlife that surrounds the ocean and vast array of native vegetation.
